Dear Diary: The Hoomans Were Boring Today!
It has been a couple of days since we've posted anything, and the Hoomans continue to be really boring, at the moment!
I even tried getting right up and in-their-face, but it didn't seem to have the desired effect. Most unsettling!
Hello! Anyone there? Pay attention to the CAT!
I even resorted to taking a nap with Daisy, our dog. We got on the couch in the Mom-Hooman's office and snoozed together...
Daisy is a pretty friendly sort and makes acceptable (and warm!!) company when the Hoomans are busy.
That was finally enough that the Mom-Hooman paid attention enough to snap a photo of us and make this little tribute meme! So that was at least something.
Then she started talking on the phone and having a video chat or something... so we had to go into the bedroom and continue sleeping on the dog's bed.
Some days are just like that!
I wonder if this is what you Hoomans call a "shitpost?"

Sorry to read that your Hoomans are a bit boring sometimes, but lucky you can get a warm and cozy sleep together with Daisy. We make time every day to play with Micio and Chouffe, the two sisters who let us live with them.
Playtime is very important! Even when there is not really time for anything else, there is always kitty playtime!

I think there's a large enough and engaged enough community here to eventually support a "Cat Channel" of sorts. One of these days, I'm planning to do a bit of a recap post on the different cat related tags we have, and how much they get used.

Very hard for me to get good pictures of my black cat Betty. Lighting has to be just right. But when I do the picture will speak a 1,000 words... :-)

Black cats are tricky to get good photos of... the light has to be "just so" or you end up with either zero contrast and definition, OR the cat ends up looking dark gray...
