some times i think they can project ideas into your head , my cat makes me feed him by thought alone , some days he does this and just doesn't eat  it , just to reinforce  his power and control , i dont mind as i sort of understand we dont have free will , i came to that realization initially when studying psychology and sociology , i came across the Milgram experiments and social conformity exsperiments and under these conditions over 90% of people were able to be manipulated into killing a complete stranger , there are a multitude of similar experiments , many of which were banned from being repeated on "ethical" ground as the test subjects were traumatised , nothing like realizing you are a murdering psycho bastard before dinner time , enough to put you off your lunch

I also learned that altruism , is as much as an illusion as free will , we all want a payback , physical or psychological , , i puzzled over this for a long time , and eventually found the nearest thing to an example of altruistic behavior , when Christ said  " But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."

so whats the point if you cant direct your own actions and are a boat with out an oar or rudder , best be manipulated by the cat and not any one wearing a white lab coat or smart suit on TV
