Stray Cat Update
You may recall me posting about this handsome fellow a little while ago. He's been hanging around for nearly a year now and I've only recently gotten to pet and love him.
Turns out he's the sweetest thing ever!!
Unfortunately once I was able to really pet him, I felt around his head and realize that he's got a really bad infection going on. He had been bitten by a dog or coyote at some point But until now I wasn't able to check it out.
He needs to get to a vet ASAP!
I began contacting local rescues to see if anyone could help me out with the financial costs, I'm not a rich person and it could cost quite a bit to get this I infection under control.
Luckily one that I contacted agreed to help; Little Cat's Lost is a fantastic rescue here in Edmonton that specializes in stray and feral cats.
As soon as they let me know when and where, I'll have to get this guy into a carrier and to the vet appointment.
That might be a pretty crazy challenge since this guy is still pretty timid.
He was definitely once owned though and could absolutely get adopted and live in a real home once he's seen to medically and neutered.
I'm hoping for the best outcome for this cat, I've grown attached and have even named him.
