Fifi

I spotted this Persian cat at one of the stores where I went shopping. Fifi, the shopkeepers pet comes with expensive price tag that could feed a small family for about a month. Fifi is cute, but doesn't do what cat are supposed to do i.e. It is more like a mantle piece that just breathes.

But, Fifi is undoubtedly cute, but spending over 15 k for a cat that doesn't chase mouse yet eats food worth another 5k is a little too much.


The shopkeeper says it's tough to handle a cat like that as there are many who are ready to kidnap that. Fifi doesn't know how to protect herself unlike our local cats. According to the owner Fifi always falls in trouble if she is left out alone.

One of my distant relative, who doesn't know how to spend the regular high tides of money that flows into her house, had 2 of these 'Fifi' like creatures. they both were allowed to roam in their curated lawn and one day one of them didn't return. The family tried finding their pet, but couldn't. The other one got unwell missing his friend and died.

Cats are cute, but I think the local ones are much better for they are low on maintainance and can do things much better than these fancy breed cats.
