About My Little Ones
Greetings, caring travelers!
I wanted to dedicate today's post to the little feline beings that give me love and happiness every single day I exist in this planet of ours. The two siblings are almost two years old already, but I'm sure they'll always be my little ones.
My mom was the one to notice that their tails in this photo seem to form a heart :')
Just as I got out to walk a bit and think about what I wanted to include in this prose, I kissed my parents goodbye and felt a warmth in my heart when I looked to the little one sleeping in the couch: the unconditional love I feel for my protected beings is probably a bit like the caring they feel for me.
It's not easy putting these complicated feelings, thoughts, and experiences into words. I've said it before, but stating it once was definitely not enough: I sometimes feel like I'm Carrie Bradshaw, the leading character of Sex and the City, writing my experiences as a young adult in the biggest and most chaotic city in my country. But yeah, I'm drinking & writing, so we've got that in common, too (:
Earlier today, I had the unique experience of giving bath to Lindo Pedro for the first time, and it was something. Cats usually manage to keep themselves clean independently, really different from having a human kid, since I mentioned the analogy between both. However, my oh my...
See, his sister Bella Baxter has gotten her name from Emma Stone's character in the movie "Poor Things", due to her exploring the unknowns around outside our house within the first weeks with us. And of course her brother got the same idea, and they unfortunately continue wandering around the neighborhood until nowadays. Naturally, they get dirty, and today was his day to suffer under the shower. Bella better keep her eyes open, huh?
This is her sleeping over my belly. That always fucking gets me. Sorry for the swear, but puta que pariu, sério
I have been taking care of these beautiful beings for almost twenty months, and it's passed too quickly. They grew up too fast!! They were so cute and smol!!! But I guess that's part of it all, too.
I also cannot believe I've written and posted here everyday of this week. Well, I still haven't posted this one, but if you're reading this...
Take care of your loved beings, no matter their nature (:
