Not much to report, just a lazy day for the cats. I managed some shots of each, and it was finally nice and sunny ALL day, so no more grainy overcast shots. I also got a shot of the hummingbirds, who are now HUGE! They're definitely gonna be taking off soon, their beaks are almost long enough to get into the flowers they will feed on! Enjoy the photos!

haha! There are only 2 babies, and the mom (not pictured). The nest is probably about the width of a quarter, so they're still super little, but fully feathered now. They were just little gloopy balls of flesh for a week or two lol.
This is what they used to do every year, we had a whole line of hummingbirds that would nest in that same spot for a good 5 or 6 years. They were gone for another 4, now they're back, so I think these are the distant relatives of those ones. Pretty wild, haha.
Soon they’ll grow wings and fly away.

Almost time!
Great to be able to get the bird pictures without disturbing them... :-)
Yeah the babies haven't flown yet, so they don't really go anywhere. The mom will freak out and fly away when I walk over though, lol.

Great photos friend.
How many hummingbirds are there? I only see two.
They are such crazy animals!
The only bird that can fly backward.
The next post I see from you should look like this..

Hehee :)

Birds are crazy wonderful.
They got dinosaurs in them.
Hope these guys stick around for a bit so we can get an update. :)

Crazy wild!
Genetic memory I'd guess!
Many animals remember their migration patterns.
