RE: Curator Cat on Patience and Perseverance
I think luck is essential to hard work. You can work so much your hands fall off and still not succeed without a little luck. With luck you might even avoid your hands falling off in the first place ^^ true story
Us humans also don't understand that we have to give up some things in order to achieve our long term goals.
Luck is a very interesting idea, to be sure.
Are there incidents where "random luck" happens out of the blue? Absolutely!
But I also believe we often make our own luck. Or at least parts of our own luck. Let's say you receive an invitation to put your art in a major gallery, seemingly "out of nowhere." To some degree, perhaps it is luck. But then again, perhaps it is also the result of years spent creating excellent work and doing good social media... you "put yourself in the picture."
Life is fascinating, with its possibilities!
But I would definitely not want to lose my hands (or paws)!
