Long John the Three-legged Cat

This is my Mom's cat Long John Silver.

He is a rescue from an abusive situation.

When my Mom got him, they had to amputate his leg.

He's been three-legged for eight years and is one of the fastest cats I know! When he's running around and playing, his legs barely touch the ground. He's awesome :)

I think animals are amazing with their resilience.
