CATL is exploring technology licensing partnerships with global carmakers, aimed at creating new revenue streams.
The company is investing in R&D to make all-solid-state batteries in small batches and condensed batteries for electric vehicles and even airplanes. Also the company tries to combine them with lithium-ion batteries for enhanced performance.
