In fact the canned dogfood and catfood is the same, here but the dogfood is much cheaper.
Unfortunately cats (I guess you know about) need the additive "taurine" contained in all cats food. They cannot produce themselves and it is only contained in fresh hunted animal.
Mine do not like the dry dogs food too much (well even the dogs don't like it)
when I had dogs in the past they always try to get the cat food. the cat wasn't interested in the dog food really but the dogs were totally out to get the cat's food.

Very strange! I had cats in the past and also now but never they appreciated the dog food!
