Letting The Feral Cat Out Of The Trap After Being SpayedsteemCreated with Sketch.

Yes, it is time to let the cat back out in my moms backyard after being spayed. We held her for the desired 48 hours. Seems like she likes being back in mom's backyard.

There are some more cats that need to be fixed. Mom and I will return the trap to the spay and neuter place that we got the trap from and get back the deposit.

Mom also ordered a trap of her own. I ordered it from Amazon.com it is a Havahart Woodstream 1079 32-Inch Live Animal Cage Trap. This way mom won't have to keep on putting money on deposit for the trap.

You see how the cat ran out of the trap. Then after awhile she seems like she is back to her normal self checking out the backyard again.

Mom doesn't mind feeding the feral cats, but she doesn't want the number of cats to keep on growing. There is a lady that is on the same street as mom that keeps feeding cats and the number increases. Mom is getting visitors of some of the grown cats of those many litters.

So there is a momma cat and 4 kittens that still need to be fixed. So the adventure continues.

That was such a kind thing to do to help the feral cat population. Now she is a very happy cat to be back in her own territory. It's such a shame that people abandon cats so that this becomes a problem.

Thank you very much @dmcamera!

You are welcome. I love to hear about people taking care of our furry friends! :-)

Unlike humans, cats do not need to blink their eyes on a regular basis to keep their eyes lubricated.
