"Nocturnal Escapades" - @Grapthar's cats + Guy T Martland's #TheCat = #Conspiracy!

Bobi the Bad

@Grapthar started this!

He is a pawn in their paws!

Replies are half the fun at Steemit,

and I love getting to know people from all over the globe via their #dailypetphotography photos with ongoing commentaries, followed by a series of exchanges at the end of each post. (*Note: we have several freewriters at d-pet, including @wakeupkitty, @d00k13, and @owasco, to name just a few.)

Blaze on his cardboard circle!

How innocent @grapthar makes it sound!

"Lazy," he says!

He has no idea; nor did I, until I saw this post, with a key phrase the cats must have somehow overlooked, Nocturnal Escapades:

My reply,

Nocturnal escapades! Again I'm reminded of @GuyTMartland's series, about a time-traveling, dimension-hopping cat known only as The Cat,

led to a most-alarming and frighteningly innocent observation from @grapthar:

"I think our cats need to read these books, expand their minds."

No, no, no!

The cats know too much already!
They're busy reading our emails and controlling the internet.

If I were clever with memes,

I'd steal Gary Larson's "Car!" alert and have cats hastily sitting on top of books before being caught reading.

(Or Kindles, as it were. Nice try, Bobi)

Don't believe me?

I have evidence from @GuyTMartland. Just take a look.

If you dare.

The Gift

If They Only Knew...

The Suitcase Sign

His science fiction story about a supposedly fictional cat, The White Cat Zugwang, was slated for publication in a Steemit anthology,

> This week’s big news!

First, Guy T. Martland (@guytmartland), author of The Scion (nominated as readers’ favorite Science Fiction Novel in the annual British Science Fiction Awards), as well as multiple published sci-fi stories, and first place winner of the annual P&E Readers’ Poll in the Positive Futures category for his piece, Space Cold, which appeared first right here on Steemit, has agreed to contribute not one but two stories to our anthology series. One will appear in our Science Fiction/Fantasy and the other in our Literary, because he’s just that good. Thank you, Guy!

But that project ended--

I was never told the reasons, but you can be sure a cat was behind it.
Worse, Guy is no longer active at Steemit. On the bright side,

You can still find his chilling, dystopian, award-winning cat story here:

The White Cat Zugzwang

Undaunted by the anthology cat-hack,

Guy's real-life cat, known to us only as "The Cat," has hijacked Guy's blog with 25 stories in a series, and more (I hope!) to come. This cat has been photographed. We know the face of this elderly but epic Scottish Fold.
Do not be deceived.

#Caturday, #catsofsteemit, #catsnaps,

You all just don't know what we have unwittingly unleashed.

But check out @GuyTMartland's "The Cat" series, and you might get an inkling of what they're really up to.

Nocturnal Escapades

might be a good title for the series Grapthar will someday write.

Read his "Song of the Day" reviews too!

And keep on eye on those cats!
