CURIOSIDADES - Macundales
Hola amigos de Steemit, el día de hoy les estaré hablando un poco sobre una expresión venezolana muy común como lo es "macundales".
Hace muchos años en el proceso de la exploración y para abrir picas, los trabajadores de los campos petroleros utilizaban unos machetes ingleses de una marca llamada Mc Undale.
A la hora de terminar la faena, era común escuchar "llego la hora de recoger los macundales" (machetes), lo que hasta el día de hoy significa "recoge tus cosas y vete".
