Hola amigos de steemit, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un poema que me encanta, lo hago el dia de hoy ya que está de cumpleaños el gran poeta venezolano Cruz Salmerón Acosta.
Este insigne escritor nace un 3 de Enero de 1892 en el pueblito de pescadores localizado justo al frente de mi ciudad, Cumaná, en el golfo de Cariaco, en el Estado Sucre, Venezuela, conocido como el "Poeta del Martirio" forma parte de la generación del 18, su obra es influenciada por la corriente Modernista, a muy temprana edad es diagnosticado con la enfermedad "Lepra" y se retira a su pueblo natal donde escribe la mayoría de sus poemas y muere a los 37 años de edad un 30 de Julio de 1929.

AZUL:

Azul de aquellas cumbres tan lejanas
Hacia la cual mi pensamiento vuela
bajo La Paz azul de la mañana
color que tantas cosas me revela

Azul que del azul del cielo emana
y azul de ese gran mar que me consuela ,
cuando diviso en él la ilusión vana
de la visión del ala de una vela

Azul de los paisajes abrileños
triste azul de mis líricos ensueños
que no calman mis íntimos hastíos

Sólo me angustio
cuando sufro antojos
de besar el azul de aquellos ojos
que nunca más contemplarán los míos.

BLUE:

Blue of those distant peaks
Towards which my thought flies
under La Paz blue in the morning
color that so many things reveals to me

Blue that of the blue of the sky emanates
and blue of that great sea that comforts me,
when I see in him the vain illusion
of the vision of the wing of a candle

Blue of the landscapes of April
sad blue of my lyrical daydreams
that do not calm my intimate bores

I'm just anguished
when I suffer cravings
