It’s a pleasure to us not only see this project Remarkable Users standing and walking but to have Sandra as the first guest of this special space dedicated to users.


We did a little interview to Sandra and ask her a couple of questions to know more about her and this is what she told us:

My name is Sandra Cabrera and I am 49 years old. I am a teacher of Special needs Education with a Diploma in Children's Literature, a Master's Degree in Educational Planning and Comprehensive Special Education. I love writing, reading, drawing, growing plants and drinking coffee.

And how did you meet the platform?

I get to know about STEEMit through my sister @adncabrera. She first met the platform and then make accounts for my other sister @marlyncabrera and me.

What are the topics that you usually address in your blog?

I usually address issues about early childhood like child development, education and special needs education in general. I have a deep love for my profession, and truly believe that education can transform a person’s reality. Education can make them start to think by themselves, constructing their own criteria and have the tools to make a life project that satisfies both social and personal necessities. I consider myself very idealistic.

Maybe you’re just a dreamer, which has absolutely nothing wrong, in fact, is really worthy of admiration. Children are the future of the world, and the fact that you dedicate your time to their education is something that we all should thank. I would like you to tell us a bit about your plans: What future projects do you have within the platform?

I would like to develop in my blog a stand, a voice, which defends the rights of children in vulnerable situations, as well as giving guidance to families based respectful child rearing guidelines. Also I will like to show teachers; forms and ideas to blend in the classrooms and in the educational process, strategies that allows the vulnerable population to take part the process of educational inclusion, the right that they have by law. This project I would like to develop it on Discord as well.

Are any hobbies or other information that you want to share with us? We see that you go throughout the block chain giving flowers to all users. Does this have a meaning behind it?

I work out regularly. I like to read and write. I have 3 cats and 3 adopted dogs, the flowers are messages to each of the user, it represents a color that symbolizes something, having a meaning. They are not put at random and I take my time to look for them.
I like plants; they stimulate things like patience and thoughts.
I also study psychology; I'm in the middle of the career. I’m doing it to complement my profession.

Definitely you are a great human being. A prepared woman, with a number of studies that doesn’t limited to what she knows, but goes for more knowledge day by day. It is an honor for us to have you here.

Changing a little about the subject... How did you get to know the witness @castellano?

I get to know @castellano through @nnnarvaez by reading his blog, whom I admire and respect for his intelligence, his initiatives and the way he defends his ideals. Then, I dedicated myself to read more about @castellano, and felt that I had a connection with it because we had very similar intentions in terms of forming a platform for the interests of Spanish speaker community, as a growing group.

What are the @castellano ideals that complement yours?

To make a voice that speaks out about the interest of its community, like social and economic topics, to give them a support, because they really make an effort to give this platform quality content and to keep the platform quality, sustainability and progress principles. To rescue the social foundations, like placing quality content as a need to get interactions. On the other hand keep up a respectful behavior towards all the resources of the STEEMit ecosystem.

Sandra, it’s been a pleasure to us to have you here on our blog. What words would you like to say to take leave to us and the community?

1. We are constantly getting in touch with independent curators from multiple projects. Any talent that deserves to shine will be communicated to us and we will take care our community value it.

2. Despite the first point, the most effective way to get chosen for this activity is to actively participate in the @castellano ‘s posts, contributing with ideas and supporting the different users who will be using the witness as a platform to be heard.
