My Rant on the CalArts Style, Pokematic Responds to Channel Frederator

Let me get one thing clear, I'm not one of "those guys" that constantly rants about "The CalArts Style." I don't even thing "bean head" is all that "wrong." My problem comes from taking extreme complaints about bean head (it's a secret government plot to make the youth stupid), saying "it's simplistic because TV animation needs to be cheap," say that 2 of the most prolific examples of it come from creators that didn't even go to CalArts, and then end on "see, there's absolutely no validity to this so called style" even after showing off pretty much the same meme I used in the image, is dishonest. All you had to do was say "there is a small trend in TV animation," and show how easy it is to draw bean head over something more unique, and then I would not have a problem. But no, you go with "here are some examples of cartoons not using bean head, therefore there is no bean head."
