Drift practice preparation

in #cars8 years ago (edited)

Some drift practice session preparations back then, went to Tyres Pro shop at Kota Damansara. The service there is nice, the boss treats me like VIP and gave me cheap 2nd hand tyres to play with, each cost RM80, with second hand rims included. But I have the return the rims once I'm done, of course.

Funny that I'm using KIA rims for the rear, meh who cares? I just want to drift, easier for me to switch up without having to take out the tyres, just take the whole rim out and swap the next tyres in...

Bought 6 pieces, including the 2 that's already fitted in to my car.

It wasn't too bad for the weather, although it was gloomy at first but it started to rain once I reached Putrajaya. Luckily it didn't rained for too long, the road was wet and I should say better for the longevity of my tyres, and more fun!

RM80 2nd hand tyres??? wow do they last long for casual everyday driving?

I'd say its hella cheap tyres for those who want to pinch pennies!

the boss just called me few days back, RM70 now (only for me) hahah
They still can last about 4 to 6 months for casual drive I guess, but treadwear about 60% left so safety first.

As for me I plan to shred it so yeah

@shadowhau 4 to 6 months? hahah okay not worth the safety risk. Perfect for leaving cool drift tracks though!😂😂
