Haas F1 and it's season plans

Haas F1 will be testing over the next two weeks starting at 9am on the 26th Feb at Catalunya, Circuit de Barcelona.

They plan a new unveil outside their garage at the track at 7.40am just before the start of testing with both Grosjean and Magnussen uncovering the VF18 car.

The team do not expect to be in the front-running with the top 3 teams of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull, but they do expect to be within half a second of Ferrari.

Haas Shares a power unit, gearbox and overall technical support with Ferrari so it's all down to car design which they have spent some time testing the new design using a 60th scale model in the wind tunnel. The Halo and wing changes make the new cars' centre of gravity higher and affect aerodynamics compared to last year's car.
