MG3 2018 Facelift Review & Road Test

This week the Planet Auto team get to grips with the nippy hatchback the MG3.

We review the 2018 Facelift MG3 in the same location where we reviewed the earlier model last year.

The MG3 is quite a bit different to the earlier generation, it retains the same chassis and engine, however that’s where the big similarities end.

The front has new bumper, grille, lights and overall a more sculpted look.

The rear has a new bumper, lenses and boot.

The dashboard has changed and it’s far smarter than the previous model, also the whole range now has LED headlamps.

Economy is 35mpg to low 40s, that’s what we managed.

Our model is priced at £12,795 however for that you get 16” alloys, reversing camera and Apple CarPlay.
