MG ZS EV Road Trip Part 1:- Ben, Annabelle & Joseph head to the first destination via CCS Charger

Here it is, the first instalment of our 400 mile adventure from Goodwood Revival accommodation to Farnbrough via an Instavolt charger then onto Eastleigh then to The Aviator Hotel.

This is the first time Annabelle and myself have attempted to do this type of journey in a full EV, however we knew we had at the time unreleased MG ZS EV, a fully electric version of the ZS SUV by MG.

This first leg is allows us to test how it drives and put across what we plan to do for the 400 mile journey up home.

The ZS EV is a fantastic vehicle and far more advanced then combustion model, for a start it's not NCAP3, it has been designed to achieve at least 4 and ideally 5, and it isn't surprising when you take a look at what's new, safety includes:-

Blindpsot detection
Emergency braking
Pedestrian and Bicycle detection
Cross Traffic Alert
Active Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist

This EV retails for between £21,000 and £23,500 dependant on trim, we had the Exclusive, specs vary on trims.

This includes the grant and MG then matching the grant.
