Time to go purple - RX7 FD3S
Purple Power
A little while ago I decided it was time to modify my RX7 FD3S and well didn't want to have the same boring colour scheme with blue or red silicone couplers and hoses.
I chose the colour purple because I saw something outrageous when I was in Northern Ireland a few years ago, it was a Supra kitted with purple bling in it's engine bay.

Now I've already got a few purple bits in the engine bay, such as painted ends on my strut braces and purple radiator hoses but I was missing the purple intake filters for my HKS Super Power Flow Intakes, just like the one in the above Supra. BUT he didn't get his purple one ha ha!
I placed the order via www.rhdjapan.com on Sunday the 11th of March and it arrived all the way from Japan to my door today Monday the 19th of March. I'm incredibly impressed and would recommend them to anyone!
Wednesday is a public holiday here in South Africa so I'll probably land up fitting them there, also hoping to get out to an exhaust shop soon so I can start the exhaust fitment.

Purple is very nice and makes a refreshing change from blues and reds. I like Orange (as you can probably tell from the 'Egg' theme ;) but not sure it would go well with the black/white skoda colours.
Would orange calipers look too cheesy?
Hah, orange would look awesome I with the skoda! Do the calipers and maybe get your hands on some orange platidip and do some trim items on the exteriod.. Might look cool :)
Mmm, I might have to be subtle as the wife wouldn't take too kindly to my artistic eye ;)
It looks really nice in purple, i would like to change mine to red or blue.
Go with red for the Nissan :)
