Shouldn't the auction houses clean their cars before selling?

I had to laugh this interior shot from an R33 GT-R that sold at the Japanese car auctions on the 16th of October 2018. The ashtray is full of cigarettes! Shouldn't an auction house clean their cars before displaying them? Or shouldn't the owner take a little more pride before selling it?

Maybe it was a repossessed vehicle and the owner didn't care... Anyway it made me laugh!

Other than the 1,000 cigarettes and pile of cables in the back it doesn't seem like such a bad buy at $16,933 USD!
