Brutally Bashed RX7 FD3S

This one is rather painful to look at as I have a serious soft spot for Mazda RX7's.

Seems as though the owner may have been trying his hand at some mountain touge runs and lost control (this is just an assumption) the drivers side is heavily damaged and both front wheels are badly buckled, the impact was so bad that all of the airbags deployed! I just hope the driver was okay after the crash!

This particular FD sold for $3,229 a little steep for it's condition but it is a final year edition (2002 model) and had only 47,000 before the disaster occured.

As you can see on the auction sheet the front end and right hand side are a complete write off.

Do you think this was a worthwhile buy for the new owner? It's probably going to be parted out but would someone actually fix a wreck like this? Would love to know in the comments section
