JDM Car Auctions - 2018/04/26 - Mad Mazda's (20b)
My Favourite Mazda's from Week 3 April 2018 at the Japanese car auctions. Everyone loves the sound of a rotary engine in the morning brapping away.
What's better than a standard rotary engine? Duh, a modified one! Especially that of a 3 rotor 20b engine! It has a much larger torque band and is nearly unstoppable when high tuned, okay maybe that's more like the 4 rotor. Either way, all are impressive and are witchcraft when it comes to understanding their internal workings.

(Actually I think that was white Mazda's from 89 including the MX5 that had that fun problem. Mine would shed paint with every takeoff :D)

Silly how the Autozam is quite expensive! I bet it gets lots of attention, though.
I know, to be honest prices were around $2500-$5000 at the auctions about 2 years ago but with all the recent USA imports the prices have gone up. This was pretty much low end of the scale when it comes to pricing, I see retail in Japan sells them for $8000+ :(
I like the old school RX7 turbos. I have heard they can be a nightmare with maintenance and repairs.
Whoops, sorry, only saw this message now! Space and reliability are a major factor but if you love a good rotary like I do it's all worth it in the end
