its a beast...... its insane........ <3
That's the standard factory spec for an RX7, a little extra tuning can see sub 5 seconds without a problem.
Not as much torque as I imagined but then it is only a 1.3l. Albeit, a high revving, power-house 1.3l ;)
That top image is beautiful, I remember as a teenager when Jeremy Clarkson on 'Old Top Gear' reviewed the RX7 and the 3000GTO in the same segment...... I was struck by how much nicer of the 2 the RX7 was.
I'd still love to get myself the 3000GT / GTO. The bottom image (More beautiful because it's MINE, hahaahah) is the Type RS it had slightly more torque @ 314nm, really nothing to write home about but the power to ratio is really great! I weighed it in recently at 1240kg in October and 1230kg in January :)
Did you put it on a diet?
I took the HKS exhaust, paperwork, cameras and tools out the boot for the second one :D
Yeah, the GTO is still nice........ I love the curvy RX :)
It's quite lightweight, especially by today's standards.
I'm worried about something, i think that my favorites cars will be replaced. Technology is advancing every day and the Electric cars are closer than before. Electric cars is a good advance for the planet but those cars for drifting and high speed will be replaced by slower cars but is 70% less contamination. I honestly like electric cars but is better to wait until this industry change the prices to economics one's but something to let you know is that electric cars change will be imminent.
Electric cars are great for general use, but they don't provide the same thrill as a screaming Turbocharged Brap monster. Plus they overheat after one lap of most tracks and go into limp mode, kind of embarrassing, you don't see Tesla advertising by doing laps do you?
That won't stop us enthusiasts from buying them racing them and appreciating them no matter what the cost will be :)
Mint, clean and Braap tatata chu cu cu :D gotta love rotary.
I just saw passat specs yesterday haha bit under 9 sec .. to 80km/h and just under 12 sec to 100/km/h hehe.. still achieves it at 400k km
Thanks for sharing, Steem on!
Ouch, those specs are baaaad! but I guess the passat will run forever :) Hoping to find some time this weekend to start installing a few bits on my RX7 :)
Awesome! Looking forward for it :) if been fixing my passat past two days as well that I will share.
