Automotive: Porsche Indonesia Showcases Classical Car Restoration Facility, Receive RUF and Singer!
Porsche has a long journey that is forbidden to miss, especially when discussing the classic sports car. There are cars like Porsche 356, 550, 928, 944, and of course the Porsche 911 icon. Most of the cars we've mentioned are now classic and rare cars, and the fans are scattered all over the world. Of course they are eyeing the classic Porsche is a prime condition, even if it can be like new.
For that reason, Porsche Center Jakarta held a workshop that discussed about Porsche-Porsche classic restoration and repair service, whatever the model. Starting from the most famous such as 911 or even supersport fast, sophisticated and rare like Porsche 959 they will take care of and repaired to like new. Interestingly, Porsche was open if there is a model like RUF, Gemballa or Singer want to make improvements as well, as long as Porsche-based.
"As long as the base is still Porsche, we will receive here, whether it is RUF, Singer and so forth," said the Porsche Center Jakarta. All classic Porsches entering the "surgery room" will be serviced by certified technicians. They have direct access to all the technical literature, authentic processes and historic archives to ensure that the existing Porsche classics will be maintained according to Porsche Center standards.
In addition, Porsche's in-house trainers are internationally certified and always conduct regular training programs to ensure that all Porsche technicians are always up-to-date with their technical skills and product knowledge, with Porsche AG Germany monitoring. Porsche Technicians have 3 levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold, and to start taking care of classic cars, at least one technician should be at the Silver level.
Not just returning to its original state, the classic Porsche technician even received a car upgrade request as long as it did not injure the car itself. A good example is the Porsche 356 C silver, where the owner asks Porsche to install the air conditioner because the standard does not have AC. Porsche undertakes and installs air conditioning in this car, presumably so that the owner is not "mature" because of the sun's heat in urban areas.
About spare parts, Porsche is still able to contact the providers of their classic auto parts components. But if needed, Porsche is able to empower 3D printer tools to create new parts with their standards, so if there is a need for parts in small amounts and fast, do not need grusu because it can be facilitated by 3D Porsche printer tool.
