Automotive: Get ready, the new Toyota Supra Appears March 6th in Geneva!
Finally, after a bunch of reports, rumors and gossip that burst through the years, Toyota Supra (not yet the final name) seemed ready to say hello to the NSX and GT-R again. Toyota has just uploaded a new Toyota Supra teaser that supposedly will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6, 2018. Caption teaser photos in Toyota fanpage was not kidding, namely: THE LEGEND RETURNS. Wow, this is it!
Photos uploaded by Toyota show a piece of the back of their new car suspected as the new Toyota Supra. Seen there is a body of a Grand Tourer type coupe with a curvy indentation and a very large rear spoiler. It seems a bit lebay yes if a sports road legal car wearing a large spoiler like this. Perhaps this Toyota Supra concept that will compete in GT3, following the BMW that showcased the BMW M8 GTE before the new 8 Series appeared.
By the way BMW, do not forget that Toyota gets help from BMW in designing the new Supra, so that Supra will be siblings with BMW Z4. In addition to the same base, it is said they will use the same 6-cylinder turbo engine and automatic transmission. 6 cylinder engine turbonya use have BMW and claimed to have a minimum of 335 hp. Not as big as NSX and GT-R huh?
Ah, still claims really. The next claim is that the new Toyota Supra will not be sold under the Toyota brand, but Gazoo Racing, so it might be called Gazoo Supra. Supra name was not necessarily pinned on this car, considering there was another name that became a candidate. Another rumor is that there will be 4 Supra variants on offer, so it's interesting to know which one is the cheapest and most expensive type.
Design matters, we hope he was not far from the Toyota FT-1 concept that was introduced by Toyota and immediately revered as a potential successor to Toyota Supra in the future.
