Today from the United States of America with a special edition of "One Day, One Car"

This number is important in the history.

Why? Because it's the MOTHER ROAD number - or simply because it's ROUTE 66.

There are so many stories in 3945 km or 2448 miles.
There are so many stories between 8 states.
There are so many stories between thousands of people.

Did you know?

And all of this since November 11th, 1926 from Chicago to Santa Monica.

First, to read this post, you have to listen Road #66 by Nat King Cole.
In a dream (or soon), my car will be one Porsche 911 by Singer Vehicle Design , this one would be perfect (great color)...

I'll be ready to go from Chicago to LA as slowly as possible to enjoy all the landscapes and cities. I already did some cities on this road from the Sears Building to LA... I'm ready :-)

Route 66 (also known as U.S. Route 66, The Main Street of America, The Mother Road or Will Rogers Highway is a highway in the United States. As one of the national roads, Route 66 was inaugurated on November 11, 1926, although the signboard was only a year later. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, before ending in Los Angeles with an overall length of 3,940 km .

Route 66 is undergoing many improvements and changes that make the path changeable in length. This path becomes the main route of migrants who go west and underpin the economy of the communities it undergoes. The people doing business along these lines became prosperous as the popularity of this highway increased, and they also struggled to keep this road alive despite threats being replaced by the new inter-city highway system.

so read your post about route 66 I immediately remembered to the radiator spring movie cars 3. Movie cars 3 is one of my favorite animated movies. it is so famous route 66 in the United States.
