Today in memory of Ayrton Senna, Brazilian racing driver for Mc Laren Formula One team in early 90's.
The car? The Mc Laren Senna
This hypercar venue was announced by Mc Laren at the end of 2017 with only a few details, today and before the Geneva Motor Show, Mc Laren team provides us with some new figures:
- From 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 2.8 s
- From 0 to 200 km/h (0 to 124 mph) in 6.8 s
- Engine 4.0L V8 800HP
- Weight 1198 kg (2641 lbs)
- Downforce 800 kg (1763 lbs)
The Mc Laren team says that they expect some new records on the Nurburgring.
Did you know?
All of 500 units that will be produced were already sold. If you want yours, you will have to wait... The only question is how long?

I wonder what would Mc Laren cars look like if Bruce Mc Laren wouldn't die in 1970 at the age of 32 years in a tragic accident while he was trying one of its own prototype CanAm...
Already 500 units sold, it's good because I didn't have anymore 900,000 euros in my bank account :-)... By the way, best F1 pilot ever Ayrton Senna.
thinking about it it's not that much given the performances McLaren always delivered in the past. The after-market should weight heavy on the price.
True and with only 500 units, good investment if you don't crash it.

McLaren Senna is the latest car to be presented by British company McLaren. Pictures and specifications of this all-new car have appeared on the Web for hours before its official launch, which will take place in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
The new supercars will join McLaren's high-performance models and stand in close proximity to McLaren B1 and McLaren B1 GTR.
I believe you mean the P1, else I have not heard of that secret B1 model. ;)
The looks of this automotive masterpiece grow on you. As a racing car its phenomenal, the power it generates, aerodynamics etc.
I have to say, that is the only thing that can "grow" given the rest we kinda already guess should be awesome. The looks is like quite old to me but performance wise should be a monster as with all the latest McLarens. Still, the looks though. But I think indeed it's the kind of looks that grows on people after it hits the streets ;)
Yes exactly, it's an interesting design, and overall it was very marmite love or hate it. Tech and advancement its a gamechanger especially the engine start above the driver, genius. I love McLaren after driving 570s Spider at McLaren The Tour 2017, would love to drive this. Our review of the 570s is on Steem :)

Since I was a kid, I love McLaren, so much so that in F1 I always go to this team, whatever the driver. Excellent @mandl.
