Today from the old French manufacturer who doesn't exist anymore...
The car? The Facel Vega II
The production started in 1958 with the model HK500, powered by American horses from Chrysler... In total there were 360 in the 6.3l engine. The Vega II was the update presented in Paris during 1961 with a bigger engine and more horses, going to 390 HP.
Only 184 cars were produced.
Did you know?
One of the famous owners of the Facel Vega was Richard Starkey, maybe you know him as Ringo Starr... Still, don't recognize him... Maybe one from The Beatles?
He acquired it new from the vitrine in London in 1964 with a special option of Chrysler engine V8 6.7L 400HP and mechanic gearbox. Displayed top speed 245 km/h.
