This model of Porsche is on the market from 2003, with the first show off in Paris in 2000.

The story of Carrera GT started after the victory of 24 hours of Le Mans by Porsche in 1998, designers and engineers decides to make a super sports car
accessible for people.

Implementation of the 5.7L V10 of 610 HP was a part of the Waou! effect expected... with the real top speed of 332 km/h.

There were only 1270 vehicles manufactured.

To make a promotion Porsche invited specialized press in Paris without mentioning the model that they released. The WAOU! effect was in Paris.
