#219 One Day, One Car

in #cars6 years ago

Today from Italy with the iconic car that is still looking up to date after 40 years...

The car? The Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Turbo

The Countach was on the production for sixteen years and there were 2042 units released. Shown for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1971, this car wasn't expected to become a production series.

Did you know?

The shown model is from 1980 in S Turbo version which was made on a special request by the Swiss Lamborghini distributor.

Based on an LP400 S with 5.1L V12 400 something HP engine.

The story of this RED model created by Max Bobnar takes a new beginning as the car was found in Nevada, stored in a storage facility.

The story to follow...
