The company Caterham Car Service was established in 1959 and has a close link with the brand Lotus. First Caterham becomes an official distributor of the model Lotus Seven. Then, Caterham is in charge of building Lotus Seven. Later, Caterham uses the base of Seven to build their own model...
The last released is 620R with a 2.0L supercharged engine with 320 HP for 560 kg (1234 Lbs), claiming from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 2.8s.

Since 2012, the brand Caterham is also known in Formula 1 with their team and their car CT01.

I wish Caterham cars are cheaper... To be honest these cars have very simple construction and I don't know why they must cost so much.
BTW. Caterham's jurney in F1 is finnished since the end of 2014 season.
