This concept of Citroen was first revealed to the public during the Paris Motor Show in 2008 with the goal to create the French supercar by 2025. Some years to go...
In the game, it is powered by hydrogen battery with the V8 engine of a total power of 789 HP.
Presented during the show with a petrol engine.

This concept car was specially created for the video games Gran Turismo 5 & 6 on Play Station 3.

Any update on how far they've gone in creating the car?
As far as I know this car will never be in serial production. It was just used as a promotion for the Gran Turismo and Citroen.
Yes, and French manufacturers are notorious for designing great prototypes, which they never release. lol
