Today with the old classic car from the USA, the famous model after Ford Fairlane...
The car? The Ford Torino GT
This model was proposed from 1968 to 1976 in different versions, 2 doors, Sportsroof aka Fastback and also as a convertible. And there were many options in terms of engines, starting from 3.3L with 6 cylinders in-line, and going to the "American standard" 7.0L V8 +++335 HP.
In 1968, Ford proposed 14 different models of the same base, they wanted to be sure that each customer would find its own Ford Torino. There were 172000 units manufactured.
This model became very popular as this car was a great mix of family and sports car.
Did you know?
Ford underrated their engine's power due to the high prices of insurances... The presented 335 HP (250 KW) were in real 335 KW which represents around 450 HP.
