What is so special about tesla cars?

I don't have one but from what I have read, I would love to have one for this reasons:
1.- They are electric and some models can use the super charge stations free of charge.
2.- Any Tesla model is made with great detail, the design is useful and good looking without exaggeration.
3.- The current models are ready to drive automatically on highways.
