Elon Musk Unveil's Next Generation Tesla Roadster
At the end of the week, Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla Inc.) unveiled a big surprise for sports car fans. During the highly-anticipated Semi-truck reveal, Elon had a next generation Tesla Roadster drive out of the back of the truck bed.
As if the Tesla Semi-truck was not cool enough, Elon decides to drop the fastest production car in the world on us. It was surely an exciting event for fans and investors alike. The new Tesla Roadster is claimed to go from 0 MPH to 60 MPH in only 1.9 seconds with a top speed of over 250 MPH. The base model can be yours for only $200,000... Just put a $50,000 deposit down today and you'll get your car sometime after 2020!
This 4-seater sports car is going to be a top of the line vehicle. It is claimed to get over 600 highway miles on a single charge of it's 200 kWh battery. That's an incredible distance. The vehicle will be powered by 3 motors and it will have all-wheel drive with torque steering. It is a true game-changer to both the electric vehicle and sports car industry. The new Tesla Roadster is poised to be the fastest car in the world.

In the lead-up to the Tesla Semi unveiling on Thursday night, Elon Musk took to Twitter and boldly said that the event will “blow your mind clear out of your skull and into an alternate dimension.” Naturally, many dismissed Musk’s tweet as nothing more than the typical bombast we’ve come to expect from the Tesla CEO over the years. But as it turned out, Tesla’s special event was actually jaw-dropping.
Not only did Tesla unveil a brand new electric semi-truck with 500 miles of range, an intriguing new design, and generally impressive specs, the company pulled an Apple-esque one more thing when Elon Musk unveiled the company’s next-gen Roadster by having it drive out from the back of a Tesla Semi. Say what you will about Tesla, the company certainly knows how to put on a show.
