MG 1100.

While walking about town today I came across this little MG 1100 this would be around a 1963-64 model. Very hard to find one of these cars now in fact I don't recall seeing one for some years.

The Morris/Austin 1100 that the MG 1100 was based on were designed by Sir Alec Issigonis. The same man that designed the legendary Mini. Using the same mechanical setup of front-engine front-drive used in the Mini. These being a full family car being it was somewhat bigger with a bigger engine, front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and advanced hydrolastic suspension.

Even though these cars are basically a bigger Mini they are still a small car.
