A Really Cool VW Kit-Car

I saw this gorgeous car in the car park at the fitness park the other day. It looks like a VW based home built kit-car but I haven't managed to find the producer yet. Its obviously based on a VW Beetle from the lights and the dashboard but whatever it is, some serious work has gone into it to produce a beautiful and extremely cool motor car!

It suddenly struck me that it's possibly like a VW version of a Mini-moke. Any ideas anyone?
