55% EV share in Norway in October
EV Sales Blogspot published the Norwegian EV sales for the month of October. Once again more than half of the cars sold had a plug, and that in a month that PHEV sales were quite a bit down.

As in most of the other months of 2018, the Nissan Leaf was the best selling model this month, with 1,292 registrations. Number two this month was the Volkswagen e-Golf, with 978, and third was the BMW i3 (525 registrations). The top five was completed by the Volvo XC60 PHEV (473) and the Jaguar I-Pace (see below), which finally seems to be ramping up with a sales number of 441 cars.
The total market share of EVs was at 55% this month. Even more impressive is that 39% of the total market was for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), just short of the 45% record in September. And that is even without the Tesla Model 3, Kia e-Niro and the new German e-SUVs (E-tron, EQC, iX3) being available in the country.
2018 ranking
Looking at the full year ranking (see below), the Leaf is still miles ahead of all the other EVs. Already more than 10,000 Leafs have been sold by the Japanese manufacturer. Not much has changed in the top five, only the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV entered at the expense of the Tesla Model S. Further the e-Golf (2), I3 (3) and Model X (4) are present in the top of the ranking.
