Not Gonna Happen Folks!!! (Nitrous Oxide Injection)

Hello Steem Meisters,

A few days ago I mentioned the possibility of getting my desire for more power from a nitrous oxide injection system (NOS): https://steemit.com/cars/@eggmeister/upcoming-project-swap-from-sh2omi-to-nos

I've been in communications with Edd at Bluespark Automotive (the company where I have my tuning box from), David at PowerHouse (NOS kit stockist/specialist) and also Danny at Darkside Developments (VAG diesel tuning gurus) and the the general consensus is that my modern engine with all it's emissions control systems (DPF, etc) runs too clean and will not have sufficient 'extra' fuelling to compliment the nitrous oxide. Bascially, I could install the kit and have it running but I will not see any power gains. I would probably require a 'wet' system or maybe a re-map of the ECU to compensate.

In a nutshell, it's getting far to complicated and expensive to persue this avenue any more. My 'thinking cap' is back on all I can say folks is watch this space!
