Figured you should know. The VW Routan is a Chrysler product. You've been warned.

So last week in my shop I had two Volkswagen Routan Minivans in my shop. After having to order parts for one that needed an oil pan gasket, I pop the hood to find a Chrysler 3.8l V6 engine and identical engine bay setup living happily under this VW badged minivan. After the second one came in the shop for routine service, we found that it also had the same problem.

So, fair warning, the VW Routan is a rebadged shitty Chrysler minivan. Same decent motor. Same shitty transmission. Most likely same terrible chassis/suspension. You've been warned.
