Classic beauty spotting ... VW Karma Ghia Coupe in Chon buri thailand

Air-cooled rear-engined favorite from back in the day. Not actually much more than a fancy bodied Beetle, however with plenty of fettling and mods, these make affordable classics, which even if they already shot up in value whilst I was sleeping, probably run at a lot less than some porsches from this era. You could stuff this with porsche parts also btw ... they'd look stock. Picture Porsche alloys on the below, it's not difficult to see why!

Let's not do poor justice to the brand. Check out this script, (pic from a related online public forum) found on what were basically coachbuilt models built upon VW mechanicals, and officially branded by the company back in the day. A large part of VW history foreshadowed by the Beetle and later the cult of the GTi.
