Another day in Cleveland, another museum
What does one do in Cleveland?
Eat, drink and visit museums.
Friday (day 1) was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Saturday (day 2) we hit the Cleveland History Museum. We kept calling it the car museum, because that is what we were there to see; but, it also housed a library (presumably mostly filled with Cleveland history? We did not go in), the lobby had a few odds and ends pertaining to Cleveland's history including a large screen playing some historical films. Further down the corridor, there was a room where they held small lectures. That day they were hosting a couple people from the Rock hall of fame to speak about the 90's and the role of plaid in the grunge era. We skipped that, even though the promise of cookies and cider were alluring.
The bulk of the rest of the museum was cars. Two floors worth. Mixed in were a few odds and ends focused on flight history, including an old airplane and the carriage part of a Good Year blimp.
Entrance fee also included a ride on the old carousel, but we did not go on it, as time tends to run out faster when you are spending the days with 85 year olds, one of them always worried we might starve. (I do love them)
I was sort of relying on Hubby's pics, as he takes a lot more than I do, but I have yet to get him to send them to me.
So, today, you get only a few of the car photos I took. But you should remember, I am barracudadiaries....I blog for my car project mainly, I just have lost track of that as of late.

So that was the day. We headed to Mabel's for really yummy BBQ and whiskeys for lunch. While there, we spotted our planned dinner joint, Brewer and the Butcher, across the street! That's a post for another day, though.
