Siblings of the Yugo

Yugo, the worst car ever made by the opinion of many people, especially in the USA.

As a Serbian from Serbia, I also think that it was bad. Very bad - but still useful.

During the 90's we had a huge economic crisis and the most of the people run the old, bad rusty cars.
Of course, there were the shops behind every corner where you could repair your car for a small amount of money.
And the junkyards where you could buy new-old engine, transmission or whatever you needed.

In such an environment, the Yugo was - survivable.
