What is career mistake to avoid

I would say just 3 main points :

1. Sleeping at a job that is not advancing too long : this will limit your skills and confidence

2. Changing job only for money: I understand money is extremely important but if it is the only motive for job change you need to be cautious

3. Not having vision of what the next move should be and no efforts towards achieving the vision. This is more like take it as it comes (luck based), no skill enhancement etc
