Here are three web based simple card games that I really like. They are all unique in their own way, and may kill your productivity.

Alright, here they are. In no particular order...

Bird Pax

This is the description from its entry on silvergames.com:

Bird Pax is an innovative card game developed by Dassa Games Ltd. Aim of the game is to earn as many cards and wingspan as you can. The number on the card indicates the bird's wingspan. A larger wingspan mean a stronger card. Don't forget to read the in-game instructions of Bird Pax. Much fun!
When you first start playing it might look a little confusing, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

Seven Elders

Alright, so above we said in no particular order but I think this one is my favorite. It's based on the mini-game Triple Triad from the video game series Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy as a whole is not my type of video game, but I am definitely down with the mini-game.

Sheriff Tripeaks

Tripeaks is a type of solitaire and there are many versions of Tripeaks Solitaire available online. So, what do we like about this one? This version has a timing mechanism where you can aim to beat a level gaining one, two, or three stars (three being the highest.) The game can be completed when you have finished every level, you can shoot for three stars across the board. I also like the varied layouts.
