The @Caracasfrases Contest | My Entry
This photograph was taken at my nephew's school in my hometown Mérida, Venezuela.
Undoubtedly, humility and simplicity is one of the essential values in the education of children. Being humble means respecting others, not underestimating anyone, not considering yourself superior and, above all, having a permanent attitude of learning.
The main way to teach children to be humble and simple is explaining with real examples and situations the meaning of this abstract word, and of course, giving example. Parents have a very important role in this aspect.
If you talk to a child about humility, the most normal thing is that he does not understand it. The word humility, which comes from Latin, means 'to recognize the limitations of oneself'. That is, recognize the errors and weaknesses.
Because humility and simplicity is to accept that one of you can fall and you always have to get up. It is learning to lose and also to win. It is to respect those who have more experience and be tolerant of differences. It is having an open mind and being willing to learn throughout life.

I always try to see my self equal to everyone else, a sort of common respect because if we allow our self to think we are better or worse we subject our self to make bigger mistakes not only in the way we treat people but how we let people treat us. Very cool post!
