Cars with no colour. Black Cars No1

There are a lot of black cars about but these are a few of the more interesting ones. The first one I have included orange to fit in with the colorchallenge Tuesday.

Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4. 253mph and 0-60 in 2.4 seconds.

De Tomaso Deauville. This is a 1983 car which had been in production for 13 years when made. Fitted with a 5763cc 300hp engine. Good for 143mph. A rare car with only 244 produced.

David Brown Speedback GT Take a close look because it is unlikely you will see one around. This is a modern replica/rebirth of the DB5 by the company run by David Brown which coincidentally was also the DB behind Aston martin's owner.
Fitted with a supercharged V8 510bhp engine. 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and limited to 155mph. Cost is £500,000.

Morris Eight Series E. 1940 car fitted with a 939cc engine. Producing 29hp and a top speed of 58mph.

Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary car from 1979. Fitted with the standard 403 ci in (6600cc) V8. 185bhp produced a 0-60 in 7 seconds and top speed of 134mph.

Ford Mustang S197. 4600cc V8 from 2005. 0-60 5.1 seconds.

Lamborghini Aventador 6498cc V12 producing 690hp. 0-60 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 220mph.

Bentley S1 Dating from 1957 this luxury car is powered by a 4887cc straight six dating back to 1922. The car was a re-badged Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1.

Mercedes Benz G Class. Known as the G Wagon or Gelandewagen 'cross country vehicle'. It is actually not made by Mercedes at all but an Austrian company called Magna Steyr. You will have heard of the companies former name, Steyr-Daimler-Puch. Powered by a 3.5L turbo Diesel producing 136hp. This one was owned by Pizza Hut but is not one of the more sort after models.

Mercedes SL 55 AMG. V8 5439cc supercharged engine producing 508bhp. 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and 186mph.
