The country is hoping to increase the transport services for passengers and remove their own car purchases, according to Reuters reports.

The BlueSG division of France's Boolere Group will operate this service for a decade. This step was taken as part of Singapore's plan to reduce the number of cars on the streets and encourage citizens to use public transportation.

The most vulnerable country in terms of being the owner of the car says in October this year, they will not allow the total number of cars to increase from February next year. In this case, mentioning the importance of the public transport by referring to their own land crisis, the country said that the country has to emphasize the development of the public transport system.

The country is already conducting experiments with some self-propelled vehicle technology - 'well-maintained roads and relatively uninterrupted road transport system' - it is said in the report.

Bolere operates similar electric car sharing services in Paris and Lyon in France, Los Angeles and Indianapolis of France and Turin in Italy. According to a statement on Tuesday, there are already 80 cars and 32 charging stations under the organization for public use.

The goal of the company is to bring one thousand cars by 2020 and make two thousand charging points. According to BlueSG, Singapore's service will become the world's largest electric car sharing platform after Paris.
